The start of Christina's Christmas afghan. I dunno what I think of this yarn yet.

The color seems right. The feel is okay. It is just jumbly.

Stripes! Imposing order on chaos. This is a chunky organic cotton. I adore the feel. (I keep pushing it at John and saying "doesn't that feel awesome??")

revel in evenness

Field testing ugly crate blankets.

Teeeeensy tiny. I really really like this weight.

Some of November's projects

I will add the project photos over time.

This one is Em's blanket of many colors. I played with pseudorandom striping concepts. It was surprisingly complicated to make it appear random. Since there were many colors, I stuck with the single crochet stitch.

It is a very heavy blanket.

Not neglecting Zin's Ugly Blanket, of course, by playing with plastic bags. This is not at all the correct shade of red. The real-life color is called "burgundy", although it's kind of a garish maroon.
More experimentation: this time with plastic bags. Cut one grocery bag into approximately 3/4 inch strip, single crochet with H hook. I have no idea what use this will be, but it is cool.

A version of cable. This is to be an Ugly Crate Blanket for my friend Zinnia.

Experimenting with rug size stitching. This is the largest hook I have used (N size). I can feel it in my shoulders.

It's also three strands instead of one, which doesn't feel quite as magical as turning one strand into a fabric.
